Lake houses are very interesting. It fascinates me to just looking at 'em in different architect magazines and online portfolios. I admire Philip Johnson's glass and steel features in his architectural works, particularly residential houses. The flat roofing very modern than any other style today, like one of the inspirations I considered for the renovation of my family's home in Omaha. I like the idea of connecting to the outdoor elements by using transparent structural materials like glass.

This architectural marvel is a good example of a relaxing place to live. The way the opening lets the light in, the interior, and how the roofing looks complement the beauty of lake and the house altogether. Man, if I'll be able to get a house nearby a lake in BC, I'm gonna get some contractors to build the house of my dreams!
